On January 18th,2025 that is this Saturday, the Salesian family in Burundi met to celebrate and share the strenna of the Vicar of the Rector Major entitled “Anchored in hope,pilgrims with young people”.
All the branches present in Burundi were represented as were the Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco.The event took place at Lycée Don Bosco in NGOZI and the main focus was on hope which does not disappoint.
After the presentation, a Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr Raymond Bavumiragiye, the new Burundi Salesian Family Delegate, followed.
The ceremonies were closed by the sharing of a meal, an evening word and the blessings of Father Benjamin Gahungu.
