
The World Confederation of Past Pupils of Don Bosco and the Dominican Federation of Past Pupils of Don Bosco (Fedebosco) during the XIII Latin-American Congress of Past Pupils (CONGRELAT 2018), presented a plaque of appreciation to the Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Margarita Cedeño, to promote values in the family through her work as a public employee.
The President of the World Confederation, the Slovak Michal Hort, was in charge of presenting the plaque, while Luis Ventura, national president, handed him over.
Organizations appreciated the work of the Vicemandatary in promoting the values of faith, courage, determination and integrity and their work for children and young people.
“La Margarita Cedeño is an example for her great dedication to those who have less, and has the goal for the next generation: to break the cycle of poverty, it is an inspiration for young people to see that they can realize their dreams if they work with dedication, “said Ventura.
Ninety-four past pupils of Don Bosco from 10 countries presented the plaque in the Green Room of the National Palace, after a guided tour they did for the government house.
The Latin American Congress of Don Bosco Past Pupils, attended past pupils from Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Panama and the Dominican Republic, aims to provide the participants with the tools for the positive impact of society with the use of new digital communication and marketing tools.
